What's your Class Style? Because I teach a variety of modalities, there is no one particular “Style” because how I teach also depends on the most important factor, the students. I like to motivate students to focus on their potentials and not their limitations with a fun challenge.
Music Genre: Depends on the class. I love a variety of music except Opera and Country.
What do I do for fun? Take fitness/Yoga classes! Go to the beach, ocean activities, skiing/snowboarding, traveling and laughing.
Hometown? Funk, Ohio (Real place, if you don’t believe me google it).
How long have you lived on Maui? 6 years on MAUI & 20 years in Hawaii.

What is your Class style? Utilizing both climbing skills and sprinting intervals I try to replicate road and mountain rides as well as race scenarios. These are workouts that both challenge both mental and physical abilities, bending your will until you feel you can’t push the cranks around one more time. Then the whistle blows, we catch our breath, high five, and plan our next ride!
What genre of music do you like? I try to find music that fits the ride/race tempo; usually between 120 - 130 bpm.....that doesn’t suck.
What do you do for FUN? Spending time with my wife and 3 boys and daughter and our dog Marley. We like the beach, teaching the boys to swim, surf, and play sports. And of course Cycling!
